Hyotenkanomori (photo)

The creation of this icy forest-made by spraying water onto the trees-began in 1971. It presents a mystical world with trees lit in blue in the daytime and multiple colors in the evening.
The "Korimatsuri" (Ice Festival) is held on the second Saturday in February each year.
