Sake Tasting in Takayama
This is the first sake tasting activity in Takayama. This is an hands-on activity to learn sake-related cultures, traditions and history by tasting sakes from Hida Takayama and enjoying local food.

Flow of experience
- Meet in front of the Jinya and then move on to “Kanoya” restaurant.
- Listen to a lecture on Japanese sake, history, cultures and traditions.
- Taste five to six kinds of sakes, along with some local snacks. See if you can tell the difference between the sakes.
- Try a blind tasting game.
(If you order the Hida Beef meal, you will have time to enjoy your meal after the sake tasting.)
