Mont Deus Hidakuraiyama Snow Park
A quad ski lift will take visitors to the summit in a flash, where they can view Japan's Northern Alps, Mt. Norikura and Mt. Ontake. There are a variety of ski courses. The Wood Course is where even beginners can ski with confidence while enjoying the vast panoramic views, and Panorama Bahn is for those who enjoy the thrill of adventure. Kinder Bahn and Familia Bahn are easier and more comfortable courses for those with children. "Genryu-no-mori Snow Cruising" is a popular activity where visitors can ride on a special inner tube pulled by a snowmobile and stop to drink genryu-no-mizu (water sourced from Mt. Kurai), Guests can also play inside a kamakura (igloo) and slide down a huge snow hill.
Those who are not wearing skis or holding snowboards can now ride on our quad chairlifts.
You can enjoy the view from the summit and return to the ski lodge. Go ahead and try it.

Travel to Takayama Station by JR Takayama Honsen. A shuttle bus (Nohi Bus) is available from JR Takayama Station to Mont Deus on Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays and every day between December 30 and January 3.
Leaving Takayama Station: 9:30a.m. and 11:30a.m.
