Hida Takayama Instagram Photo Contest "HIDA TAKAYAMA MEMORIES" Application requirements
Before applying for the Instagram photo contest "HIDA TAKAYAMA MEMORIES" sponsored by the Hida Takayama International Visitors Association, please read this guideline carefully. If you do not agree to these guidelines, please refrain from applying for this contest.
Submission details
Any photo taken in Hida Takayama that fits the following 5 themes is acceptable.
Please apply with two hashtags "#hidatakayamamemories" and "# ○○ (Theme)". Posts outside the application period and posts other than the winning works may also be showcased in the official account.
- Historical: A place where you can feel history and culture, etc.
- Fine View: Superb views, beautiful scenery, favorite scenery, etc.
- Delicious: Impressive dishes, sweets, ingredients, etc.
- Activity: Outdoor activities in the nature, making experience, traditional Japanese culture experience, etc.
- Funny: Things, places, etc. that you find amusing
(Example) In the case of Historical department, #hidatakayamamemories #historical

Examination method
Comprehensive evaluation by the judges. Results will be announced on the official account.
Application method
⑴ Follow the official Instagram account of the Hida Takayama International Council for Attracting Visitors (“@ visit.takayama”).
* If you do not follow, it will not be an considered.
⑵ Add hashtags "#hidatakayamamemories" and "# ○○ (enter the department name)" to the caption of the posted photo.
- Historical: A place where you can feel history and culture, etc.
- Fine View: Superb views, beautiful scenery, favorite scenery, etc.
- Delicious: Impressive dishes, sweets, ingredients, etc.
- Activity: Outdoor activities in nature, making experience, traditional Japanese culture experience, etc.
- Funny: Things, places, etc. that you find amusing

(3) Fill in (1) title, (2) shooting location, and (3) photographer's comment and post.
- You can post as many times as you like during the application period, but each person can win only one prize.
- Please post only one photo at a time. Multiple posts at a time are not subject to review.
- Application is limited to photographers who own the copyright of the submitted work.
- Entries must be unpublished. However, this does not apply for publications that have no commercial purpose, works posted on your website, or works exhibited in unjudged photo exhibitions.
-The copyrighted works and portraits used in the submitted work shall be copyrighted by the applicant and the prior consent of the right holder. - The permission of the shooting location shall be obtained by the applicant himself / herself.
- If your photograph contains the image of a person, the applicant is responsible for confirming with the subject and obtaining consent for the right of portrait. (If the subject is a minor, the consent of the parent or guardian is required.)
- Users under the age of 20 should apply after obtaining the consent of their parents.
-Processing can be done only for resolution change, white balance correction, and trimming (partial cutting) correction. Please refrain from submitting works that have undergone significant processing such as color change or composition. Combined photos are also not allowed.
Result announcement
Results will be announced on the official account around March 2022
- We will inform you of the result of the competition via direct message to the winners, so please be sure to follow the official account. (Please note that if we do not receive a reply within one week of the notification of success, the outcome will be rendered invalid and the entry excluded from the competition.)
- Please note that if you do not meet the application requirements, have an unofficial account, a post without a hashtag, or our account is unfollowed before the final screening result is announced, your application will be invalid.
- The right to claim a prize belongs only to the winner, and it is prohibited to transfer, sell or otherwise dispose of it to a third party.
Prize / Prize
A total of 6 prizes will be awarded, including one overall top prize and one highest award in each category.
We will give a pair accommodation voucher (expiration date of 1 year) to the overall winner and special products to the winners of each category.

⑴ Handling of works
If any of the following apply, prizes may be canceled even after having been decided.
- Double application to other contests and those judged by the organizer to be similar
- Photographs that infringe copyright and portrait rights
- Application using the name of another person
- Photographs taken in restricted areas
- Violation of law or public rules
- Things that are or may be offensive to public order and morals
- Other things that the organizer deems inappropriate
⑵ About the copyright of the submitted work
The right to use the submitted work belongs to the Hida Takayama International Visitors Council. The Hida Takayama International Council for Attracting Visitors reserves the right to use the submitted work free of charge. The work is mainly used for the following purposes:
- Posting on posters, various publications, advertising materials (printed matter such as newspapers, magazine advertisements, posters, television, etc.)
(Including secondary use as web content such as homepages and SNS) - Use at related events and exhibitions
Disclaimer
- We will not notify you of the receipt of the application.
- Applicants are responsible for the internet connection fee and communication fee for applying for this contest.
- Personal information entered at the time of application will be strictly managed by the organizer and will not be used for anything other than work related to this contest. (Excluding cases where disclosure is required based on laws, etc.)
- This contest is not sponsored by Instagram. Therefore, all users, including applicants and viewers, must comply with Instagram's Terms of Service. In addition, the organizer is not responsible for any troubles related to Instagram services.
- We do not accept inquiries regarding judging decisions. Please note that we will not respond to any questions you may have.
- The organizer does not take any responsibility for any troubles or damages (direct or indirect) caused to the applicants by applying for this contest.
- Items not specified in this application requirements will be at the discretion of the organizer.
