In order to allow our overseas guests a better understanding of Hida Takayama, we are now offering the services of an English-speaking tourist guide. Enjoy your stay with a deeper understanding of the area.

How to find our Guides
Please feel free to approach our English-speaking guides, easily identifiable with their yellow armbands. One or two guides are available at Tourist Information Office of Old Privete Houses area only. They will be pleased to provide services as required by English-speaking guests per your request.
Please note that payment of admission fees is required for all guests to enter sightseeing facilities.
If transit costs occur while utilizing the services of our English-language guides, please be courteous and pay the costs for the guide as well as yourself.
